WELCOME TO CINEMA TO STILLS

I’ve had such a huge list of inspiring and artful movies I’ve been collecting over the years to watch SO this blog is a push to watch, get inspired, and connect! Winter in the midwest is a perfect time to start as it’s dark by 5pm and it’s freezing… so I’ll be inside, a lot. :)

How does it work? I’ll watch a movie and share what from the movie inspires me. Color? Connection? Light? Point of View? It can be anything! And I’ll share how it inspires me for a certain shoot or how I can use it into my business. Hoping this blog is a way to help other photographers look at life through a different lens (WOAH A PUN) and see things differently.

You can suggest movies, watch as we go and provide input, or just read as they publish and hopefully see things a new way!

I by NO MEANS have any background in movies besides I love to watch a ton of different genres. So I’m looking to learn from this community to and stretch my art muscles and eyes to see things new as well.

I’ll send out e-mails when new blog articles come out as well as what is on the watch list next! I plan to post monthly at the least but hopefully more as we get rolling! Also may start having some guest bloggers if you watch something that inspires you!
